Maryam Javaid is a TEDx Speaker, cultural educator and founder of Black & Brown Parenting. Her work explores the beliefs, expectations and survival strategies we inherit through family, culture, race, migration, religion and history, and how they shape the way we parent, love, lead, relate and see ourselves.

What if some of what we call culture is actually inherited survival?
