Who Am I?
A Mother, Educator, Parenting Coach, Public Speaker & Speaker Coach
As the founder of Black and Brown Parenting, my mission is to uplift and support the unique needs of ethnic minority families, helping them build strong, resilient, and connected homes. With over 8 years of experience in this work, I’ve had the honor of guiding countless parents and young people within these communities, equipping them with the tools and confidence to thrive.
My approach to parenting is rooted in the belief that every family deserves a nurturing environment built on love, understanding, and open communication.
I specialize in conscious parenting—a mindful, intentional approach that challenges outdated cultural norms and taboos. For many Black and Brown families, breaking free from generational cycles of hardship, trauma, and unspoken cultural expectations can feel daunting. That’s why I’m here to provide support that helps you raise children who embrace their identities with pride and confidence, while cultivating strong, loving bonds within the family unit.
In addition to my coaching practice, I am a Public Speaker and Speaker Coach, and I regularly appear on Islam Channel, where I share insights and strategies for empowering Black and Brown families. Whether through workshops, one-on-one coaching, or community talks, I offer practical advice and tailored solutions to address the unique challenges faced by parents in our communities. My goal is to ensure that families have the tools they need to navigate cultural and generational shifts while honoring their heritage and identity.
Above all, my work is driven by a deep belief that Black and Brown families have the power to break free from limiting cycles and build a future based on love, equity, and empowerment. I am here to help you create a family dynamic where everyone—parents and children alike—feels seen, valued, and supported.
